His contribution “Quo vadis, Data Retention?” deals with the current development of the Data Retention institute – mandatory retention of traffic and location data by electronic communications operators. In view of the increasingly frequent and unambiguous decisions of the Court of Justice of the EU, the author also focuses on possible options for the further development of this obligation.
